Find Your Voice And Find Success
By Alex Rhodes
Have you thought about the initial "I'm going to do it" type of instance in your own life? In my situation it has been creating my initial novel. In many cases we say to ourselves we're going to make a change. You possibly confess to your mates about it, you confess to your old folks regarding it but even then absolutely nothing occurs. You only sit in your butt. I've been in that position a couple of times during my lifetime but somehow I realized I was focused on my first novel before I had even started mapping it out.
I was confident that any time I found myself working on something I was excited about it would begin to come together, and I was right. Just to be frank I stunk at writing, still do. I am not the best author, yet I have a consistent voice, I have continuously heard I had a great writing voice, although I'm uncertain if it's the words you say to a child who has poor grammar and spelling so they don't feel utterly crushed. Regardless, I trusted their words and clutched tight onto whatever they said, for many years actually. When I was young that's exactly what I would do, I would agree with what folks said to me concerning my talents and fortunately enough for the most part I heard good things. This goes with you into your adulthood, the individual you think that you could be builds on what folks have said, the validation and dissatisfaction from years and you create what exactly is expected from you.
But inevitably, there are some those passionate instances when you do what you want, simply motivated by curiosity, and you don't even consider paying attention to outside factors. Now these are the instances you succeed. Those are the occasions you can't be beat, you may very well not realize the direction you're going but the truth is you come to be a force. The force everyone is naturally drawn to.
Mentorship is the place where things truly start to take off, if you are able to acquire help and mentorship for your idea, undertaking or more importantly for yourself then you have the second part essential to achieving success.
Next the capacity to publicize your project is required. That's the place where the media enters the picture. You need to gain maximum exposure, and if you want to get publicity, you need a narrative that many people believe in. You need a story that other people can relate to. My narrative is what other people connected with and excited them to read my story and collaborate with me. When you get the narrative out and ensure it is consistent you will find yourself getting support. Those who would like to help out are able to connect with your narrative.
My hard work still shows its results today. My message has touched thousands and for many folks that's considered successful and in the minds of others it's nothing but a person who chose to "do it". In my eyes it has been a success, and I think that's what is most important.
For you, if perhaps you're wanting to strive for something, those are the steps you have to follow. Those are the steps that you have to carry out to take action, change for the better, and be able to feel successful.
